The Coastal Bend Community Foundation is excited to announce $250,000 in grant awards under its 2015 Special Grant Program, “Kids Go to Camp!”. The Special Grants program features a different theme each year, selected by the CBCF Board of Directors to support the Foundation’s mission to “enhance the quality of life in the Coastal Bend”.

The scholarships will be awarded through the 14 nonprofits and they will qualify the children for these need-based scholarships. The Foundation is also providing money to provide lunch and snacks through the Corpus Christi Food Bank and bus passes (2 if the child is 12 and under so a parent/guardian can travel with them) from the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority.

Seventeen grants will be awarded in a presentation ceremony to be held at the Del Mar Center for Economic Development, Room 106, Thursday, March 26 beginning with a seminar at 10:00 a.m. and check presentation at 11:00 a.m. Please click on the link below, to view the contact information for each camp:
