About the Endowment Matching Grant
The Endowment Matching Grant Program was established in 2025 to encourage the creation and growth of permanent endowment funds that support nonprofit organizations, scholarships, and charitable causes throughout the Coastal Bend.
Through this initiative, Coastal Bend Community Foundation provides matching grants to qualifying endowment gifts, helping donors and organizations strengthen long-term charitable resources that will serve future generations. Since its launch, the program has supported the establishment and growth of endowment funds across our seven-county region, reflecting a strong commitment to long-term community impact.
Permanent endowments create lasting charitable assets that provide ongoing support for the causes donors care about most. Whether benefiting a nonprofit organization, funding educational opportunities through scholarships, or addressing community needs, these funds help ensure resources remain available for generations to come.
