The Coastal Bend Community Foundation was inducted into The Gold Inner Circle of Excellence Society by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi at the 2016 President’s Ball on Saturday, January 30th. Karen Selim, CBCF President & CEO, and Susan Hutchinson, CBCF Board Chair, accepted the award on behalf of the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. The Wall of Recognition honors six levels of giving based on cumulative amounts by the end of each year and is a lasting tribute to those who have contributed to the University. The Gold Inner Circle of Excellence Society level recognizes gifts of $500,000 to $999,000.

The Mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend by building community endowment and addressing social, educational, environmental, and cultural needs through the awarding of grants and scholarships.

The Foundation’s Vision is to provide the Coastal Bend with:

  • Efficient gift options to meet donors’ charitable wishes
  • Effective grants to charitable organizations and scholarships to students
  • Ethical leadership to promote and enhance area philanthropy
