How Can I

How can I give?

  • To donate, simply log on to on November 8, 2022, click “nonprofits”, search for your favorite nonprofit(s), and click “Give”. You can make a donation using your credit or debit card or an electronic check. You may also pre-schedule your donation through “Early Giving” October 31 – November 7 and your transaction will be processed on the day made. ($10 minimum contribution)
    • EVERY gift makes a difference! Over 73,700 individual gifts were made in the prior 13 Days of Giving. Did you know the Coastal Bend Food Bank can distribute 85 pounds of food in rural South Texas for $10? For $25, Salvation Army can help provide clothing and shoes for two veterans. And for $100, Timon’s Ministries can send ten children back to school with new backpacks.

How can my nonprofit participate in the Day of Giving?

  • Nonprofit participants are selected by the matching funders (in 2021 there were 29). The foundations have focused on core needs organizations – those that address hunger and homelessness, medical needs, etc. – and that focus will most likely continue as long as the under-served population remains high
  • There are additional considerations –whether the organizations fit the foundations’ funding criteria, the nonprofit’s impact in the community, and the number of agencies included versus the amount of the match, among others

Interest in the Day of Giving among nonprofits is great and unfortunately, not every organization can be included.

The Mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend by building community endowment and addressing social, educational, environmental, and cultural needs through the awarding of grants and scholarships.

The Foundation’s Vision is to provide the Coastal Bend with:

  • Efficient gift options to meet donors’ charitable wishes
  • Effective grants to charitable organizations and scholarships to students
  • Ethical leadership to promote and enhance area philanthropy
