CBCF 9 Coastal Bend Day of Giving

Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a one-day, online, matching gift campaign held each November to raise funds for nonprofit organizations that assist the neediest in the Coastal Bend. Local foundations provide the matching fund for the online donations. This event is proudly administered by Coastal Bend Community Foundation.

The goal of Coastal Bend Day of Giving is three-fold:

  • Nonprofits receive much needed funds without large fundraising expenses
  • New donors are introduced to philanthropy
  • Potentially strengthens nonprofits by encouraging them to use new marketing tools, thus enabling them to recruit new donors and volunteers

Since its inception in 2009 through 2025, the event has raised over $41.1 million!

  • Over 8,400 Individual Online Donations
  • Raised over $4.53 million

MISSION AND VISION

The Mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend by building community endowment and addressing social, educational, environmental, and cultural needs through the awarding of grants and scholarships.

The Foundation’s Vision is to provide the Coastal Bend with:

  • Efficient gift options to meet donors’ charitable wishes
  • Effective grants to charitable organizations and scholarships to students
  • Ethical leadership to promote and enhance area philanthropy
