Coastal Bend Community Foundation Announces 2024 Arnim Brothers Fund and Annual Grants Recipients
As we gather with loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving, Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) is honored to express its gratitude to the many donors who have made it possible to support vital community initiatives. This year, CBCF is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Arnim Brothers Fund and Annual Grants.
Arnim Brothers Fund has awarded $800,000 to 21 local nonprofits focused on three key program areas: Medical Matters, Historic Preservation, and Musical Performance. These grants will support a variety of innovative projects. Additionally, nearly $400,000 in Annual Grants has been awarded to 47 nonprofits providing community support in the following categories: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Families & Children, Human Services, and Public Good.
“The Foundation is thankful for the thousands of donors who for over 40 years have made these grants possible,” said Karen Selim, President and CEO of CBCF. “Their generosity empowers our community to thrive and address critical needs.”
This news comes on the heels of the successful Coastal Bend Day of Giving (CBDG), where over $4.2 million was raised to be distributed among 62 local nonprofits. Collectively, between CBDG, Arnim Brothers Fund and Annual Grants, 130 nonprofits have been impacted with over $5.4 million.
