Applying for a Grant
The Foundation’s grants from unrestricted funds cover a broad spectrum of projects from the arts to zoology. Eligible non-profit organizations located in Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, or San Patricio counties whose projects qualify under our guidelines are encouraged to apply for Foundation fall grants. Applications that are out of cycle, do not meet the Foundation’s guidelines or are incomplete will not be considered. Fall Grant Cycle
The 2012 Fall Grant Cycle, including eligibility guidelines and pertinent dates, will be announced in May 2012. Please note that the 2012 application will be online and paper applications will generally not be accepted. After the grant cycle is announced, the Foundation will host an informational seminar to review the guidelines and application process. The date and location will be posted to the website. For further information regarding Fall Grants, please contact Sue Jackson at the Foundation at 361-882-9745.
Emergency Grants The Foundation maintains a limited reserve for responding to circumstances that cannot be foreseen during its regular grant cycle, such as damage caused by severe weather, local emergencies or unforeseen circumstances of an urgent nature. Significant challenge grant opportunities that arise between normal grant cycles may also be considered for funding as emergency grants. Initial contact should be made by calling the Foundation, 361-882-9745.
