In memory of Olga R. Paul, an English teacher at Bishop High School for more than 30 years. Mrs. Paul earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&I University. A loved and respected educator, she taught journalism and oversaw the publication of the yearbook for many years. Olga Paul passed away in 1989.
Amount:
$8,000/$1,000 per semester for four years (Financial need and scholastic achievement are considered.)
Eligibility:
Preference is given to those who plan to teach secondary English or another secondary education subject. Applicants must:
be a student with a Bishop mailing address;
attend college full-time (12 hours or more),
maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, and;
work toward obtaining a teaching degree.
